What is OneSaas?
OneSaas is an Australian-based integrations platform that provides omnichannel sales order and inventory data automation for accounting, fulfillment, and marketing applications. The company has served thousands of small, medium, and enterprise-sized customers by helping them manage apps and services together using integrations and automated workflows.
How Does OneSaas's Acquisition Affect You as a Customer?
At the beginning of February 2021, OneSaas was acquired by Intuit to enhance the integration of third-party e-commerce solutions with Intuit's Quickbooks platform. With this acquisition, some of the data integrations previously available on the OneSaas product will be transitioned into the new product 'Quickbooks Commerce'.
Unfortunately, this transition will also include certain integrations to be phased out of OneSaas's support by the end of June, leading many customers who rely on these integrations to face a tough situation. These customers will now have to quickly research and investigate alternatives so that they can plan for the most optimal way to transition their activities over to a new product.
Apps That Are No Longer Supported by OneSaas
At its peak, OneSaas was once offering integrations for 30+ apps and services which allowed businesses to synchronize a large portion of their activities using the platform. However, over the last few months, this number has been reduced by more than half, with only 14 apps now being supported by the new Quickbooks version of OneSaas. Although these apps include top e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, eBay, and Etsy, there is a notable difference in the number of accounting and marketing apps that were once supported.
So how do you know if you will be one of the customers directly affected by OneSaas's acquisition? Well, for starters, if your app is not included in the list above then you will likely have to look for another option soon.
For a more comprehensive look, here is the full list of apps that are no longer going to be supported by OneSaas's service:
- Sage Accounting
- Neto eCommerce
- eStore Logistics
- Next Logistics
Top Alternatives to OneSaas
Apps like OneSaas are often considered the "backbone" of e-commerce as they can alleviate the pain points from managing too many manual processes. These platforms have the power to enable the integration of a variety of apps as well as the automation of manual workflows. Therefore, it can be a very valuable way for businesses to optimize their operations and reduce inefficiencies.
Unfortunately, as OneSaas no longer supports the apps listed above, many merchants will have to turn to alternatives to keep their business running smoothly and efficiently. Below are some of the options currently available on the market that will allow you to continue leveraging integrations once OneSaas ends their support:
Shypyard is a platform that specializes in creating integrations and automations customized to your business's workflows. Offering over a dozen integrations including several of the apps discontinued by OneSaas (such as MYOB, Xero, and ActiveCampaign), Shypyard can help businesses seamlessly transition their activities away from OneSaas. In addition, Shypyard will honour OneSaas's pricing and only charge customers how much they paid for their previous package.
Zapier is another integration platform that helps you connect your apps and automate workflows. The tool currently supports over 3,000 apps, including Saasu, Sage Accounting, and Avaza which are no longer supported by OneSaas. Zapier has flexible pricing plans depending on how many tasks you complete on a monthly basis.
SyncApps offers integrations for over 60 cloud, on-premise, and plug-in applications across categories such as CRM, Financials, Marketing, and eCommerce. Notably, this platform supports ActiveCampaign, Volusion, and Xero, which are all apps that won't be covered by OneSaas anymore. SyncApps also provides flexibility in their pricing plans by offering four packages that scale with the number of integrations you want to set up.
Skyvia is a platform that enables data integration, backup, management, and connectivity between your apps and services. Currently supporting over 70 connectors, Skyvia can integrate apps such as Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Amazon, and more. The platform also operates with flexible pricing plans that are catered to the exact service(s) you need (e.g. data integration vs. backup).
Which Integration Platform Is the Best Option?
Ultimately, each of the platforms above will help you continue optimizing your activities through integrations. However, the one that is the best fit for you will depend on which platforms you need to integrate and whether the tools above support those platforms. With the end of June nearing, now is the best time to investigate which option is right for you based on your business's needs and start planning your transition away from OneSaas.
